About Free Creator Tools

An independent, privacy-first toolkit. No sign-up. Tools run in the browser. Guides describe what the widgets actually do.

Who runs this

Free Creator Tools is a small independent site. It is not affiliated with YouTube, Google, Adobe, or any paid creator-suite vendor. The public source is on GitHub at ashiqur0202/freecreatortools. Questions, corrections, and bug reports go to contact@freecreatortools.com.

We do not invent a newsroom, a research lab, or a team of “YouTube algorithm experts.” The product is the tools plus the written notes that keep their claims in line with the UI.

What we build

59 free tools across YouTube, PDF, Image, Audio, and Typing. YouTube pages are mostly packaging helpers (titles, tags, chapters, thumbnails) and teaching calculators (earnings, RPM, CTR, watch time). PDF, image, and audio pages use client-side libraries: PDF.js, pdf-lib, Canvas, and a same-origin FFmpeg.wasm build. Typing lessons and tests store progress in localStorage on your device.

The site used to include extra social platforms and a separate blog. Those were removed so the remaining pages would match what we actually maintain. Editorial writing now lives in two places: long-form notes under each tool, and standalone pieces at /guides.

Editorial standards

If a sentence would not be true after you click the button, we should not publish it.

  • Local processing is not a hosted service. Flipbooks do not get a public URL here.
  • Calculators use the numbers you type. They do not read YouTube Analytics.
  • No fabricated case studies, uplift percentages, or “our users grew 3×” stories.
  • Comparisons with paid suites (VidIQ, TubeBuddy, Social Blade) must not claim feature parity we do not have — no scraped volume, no predicted CTR, no API rank.
  • Silence removal is not “delete every pause.” Loudness is measure-only.

How the site is funded

Tools stay free to use. Hosting is paid for by ads (Google AdSense, when the site is approved to show them) and optional affiliate links. Ads should never be the content. Affiliate links, if used, are disclosed. There is no paywalled “Pro” tier on the utilities themselves.

What we stand for

Privacy first

No accounts for core tools. Prefer local processing. Aggregate analytics only where configured (Google Analytics).

Free to use

Tools stay free. The site is supported by ads and optional affiliates — not paywalled tool tiers.

Honest limits

Browser memory, wasm download size, and “this is a sketch” calculators are documented instead of hidden.
