Questions
Do I need an account?
No. Open a tool and use it. Nothing here asks you to sign up or log in.
Are my audio files uploaded?
No. The tools use FFmpeg compiled to WebAssembly and run in your browser tab. The files are not sent to our server. The first use downloads the FFmpeg engine, which is about 30 MB, and later uses in the same visit reuse it.
Can I use a video file?
Yes. Every tool can read the sound of a video file such as MP4, MOV, MKV or WebM. The results are audio files, and these tools are not video editors.
Is there a size limit?
About 200 MB per file, and up to 8 files at once in the converter. Your device’s memory is the real limit, so very large files may fail on a phone.
Does the Silence Remover cut every pause?
No. The default style trims only the quiet at the start and end. The other styles shorten long pauses in the middle to a short pause. Listen to the result before you use it.
Does the Loudness Meter change my audio?
No. It only measures. Change the level in your audio editor and measure again.
Can I download audio from YouTube or Spotify?
No. These tools only work on files you already have.
