About the Silence Remover
?What the silence remover does
It finds quiet parts in a recording and shortens them. In Edges only mode it trims the quiet at the start and the end and leaves everything in between untouched. In All dead air mode it also shortens long quiet gaps in the middle, but leaves a short pause so the speech still sounds natural.
It re-encodes the audio and saves an MP3, WAV or M4A. Everything runs in your browser, one file at a time, and the file is not uploaded.

Quiet speech can count as silence
A sensitivity that is too strong can cut soft words. Start with Gentle.
Always re-encoded
