How to use these phrases
  • These are phrases people commonly type, built from your topic. The tool has no search numbers, so it cannot say how often a phrase is searched or how hard it is to rank for.
  • To check a phrase, press Search on YouTube. Start typing the phrase in the YouTube search box too. The suggestions that appear are phrases people really search for.
  • Look at the results: if many recent videos answer the phrase well, think about what you can add that they do not.
  • Use the phrases naturally in your title, description and spoken words. Repeating a phrase over and over does not help and makes the video worse.
  • A good keyword matches what your video really covers. A phrase that does not fit the video will bring viewers who leave.

About the Keyword Ideas Tool

?What the keyword ideas tool does

You type a topic, and the tool lists phrases people commonly type into YouTube about it. They are grouped by what the searcher wants: to learn something, to choose between options, to fix a problem, or a specific audience.

It has no search numbers, because it does not connect to YouTube. It does not tell you how often a phrase is searched. Instead, every phrase has a link that opens that search on YouTube, so you can check it yourself.

Everything runs in your browser. What you type is not sent to our server.
