About the Typing Lessons
?What the typing lessons are
Seven lessons that take you from the home row to longer paragraphs: Home Row, Top Row, Bottom Row, Numbers and Symbols, Common Words, Sentences and Speed Building. Each lesson gives you several short texts to type, and a keyboard on screen shows which key comes next and which finger to use.
While you type, the page shows your words per minute (WPM), your accuracy and the time. Completed lessons are remembered in your browser, so you can come back later. Nothing is uploaded, and you do not need an account.

Pick a lesson
Start at Home Row if you are new to touch typing. If you already know the basics, open the lesson for the keys you want to practice.
Type the text on screen
The next character is highlighted. Look at the screen, not your hands, and use the finger that the keyboard shows.
Check your result
When you finish the text you see your WPM and accuracy. Repeat the lesson, or move on to the next one when you are typing the keys without looking.
